Finally, the RibSki boats have arrived Subic. I tested the first of the four RibSki boats that will be available from El Paradise Silanguin to day tour and glamping customers on limited offer only. This boat is very stable with Mercury outboard engines proven to be very reliable on all weather conditions. This boat it is equipped with 15HP two stroke marine outboard engine. With only 330cm boat length, it can propel two passengers at max of 22MPH. Planing starts at 14MPH and the boat can cruise at 17MPH with 3/4 throttle position.

The boat has 3 inflatable chambers that serve as the main buoyancy of the boat. There is one on the front and two on the sides. It's very easy to board from the water using the two conveniently placed hand holders. It is also very sturdy and will not turn over easily when you board on any side. It can also cut through small waves since it has rigid floor underneath with semi V shape fiberglass hull.

The boat has steering control, throttle control and shift control. These allow you to operate and cruise the boat while seating just like on a jetski. This boat is called RibSki that use propeller thrust instead of jet pump. In order to protect riders and swimmers, this boat is also equipped with yellow ABS plastic propeller protector that serves two purposes. One is to protect people from prop blades injuries and second to protect the same propeller blades from sand and rocks when cruising on shallow water. One disadvantage of using propeller protector is it adds drag to the boat speed by approximately 1-2MPH. If you value safety than speed, this is a good addition to your propeller boats.
