Silanguin: Your Healthy option

I'm attracted to Silanguin cove and I always visit this place to tune my mind and body from the hectic weekdays work. If the weather is good, I always find time to drive to Subic early in the morning and take a boat from Subic to this place, every weekend. One reason why I do this is that me and the other guests of Silanguin are attracted to the positive vibes and energies we get the next days after every visit. I'm thinking maybe its just an ordinary place just like the other places, we go to relax and physically detach ourselves to the weekdays work and pressures that made us physically and emotionally better the next days but it made me to wonder that maybe there are more reasons than that, which I will try my best to discover and intellectualized in this blog.

Many frequent guests and friends, I talked to, had the same feedbacks and feelings of positiveness every after visit to Silanguin. This has made me to research and maybe rationalize why this is so and explain a more acceptable reasonings why we all believe the same way. Why we are attracted to frequent this place every now and then.

First, lets discuss the environment aspects of the place. Silanguin is a cove facing the West Philippine see and is part of the Redondo Peninsula of Zambales that goes from the northern side of Subic cove up North going to Pundakit that traverses Nagsasa, Talisayen, Anawanguin, and Silanguin coves. Redondo is a Spanish word for "Round". This is maybe the reason why its called Redondo due to the many rounded coves that forms these cost lines.

Redondo Peninsula is mostly made of brown, bronze colored rocks and cliffs made from the abundant Luzon island's metallic minerals such as Magnetite, Hematite, Chromite, and Zinc. However, Silanguin cove beach is unique since the beach is formed from volcanic pumice of Mt. Pinatubo eruption then mixed with the minerals of Mt. Cinco picos and Mt. Silanguin that created the abundance of Pumice, Silica, Magnetite, and Hematite grains on the beach.

Now, I would like to show you some intriguing write ups about these minerals. Just found out from the internet some information that might be one of the contributing factors to the positive energies we get at Silanguin. These are the minerals of the beach. There is an abundance of Pumice, Magnetite and Hematite minerals that have been used for healing for many centuries. They are still being used today to create that positive energy. Below are the excerpts of these minerals.

1. Magnetite is magnetic and has powerful positive-negative polarity. It attracts and repels, energises and sedates. It acts as a grounding stone. Magnetite temporarily aligns the chakras, the subtle and etheric bodies. It aids telepathy, meditation and visualisation. Magnetite provides stability, balancing the intellect with the emotions. It brings a balanced perspective and trust in your own intuition. Magnetite attracts love, commitment and loyalty. It alleviates negativity such as fear, anger and grief. Brings positive qualities such as tenacity and endurance.

Magnetite is anti-inflammatory, relieves muscle aches and pains, and is beneficial for asthma, blood and the circulatory system, skin, and hair. It stimulates sluggish organs and sedates overactive ones. Magnetite provides healing energy necessary for recovery.

2, Hematite is also used to protect against geopathic stress and electromagnetic smog, and is said to be a great detoxifying stone, helpful for the liver and the blood.

Hematite restores, strengthens and regulates the blood supply, aiding blood conditions such as anaemia. It supports the kidneys and regenerates tissue. Stimulates the absorption of iron and formation of red blood cells. Treats leg cramps, anxiety and insomnia. Hematite aids spinal alignment and fractures.

3. Pumice or Lava stone doesn’t really have the “look” of something that is healing, but for centuries it has been used to do exactly that. When thinking of lava stones, it’s important to keep in mind that its origin plays a key role in its energetic qualities.

Emotional- Since lava is known for its grounding qualities, it’s wonderful for calming the emotions. In fact, the quality of fire springs from the ground, so in terms of healing gems, this lends itself to a calming- but intense- energy. Because it comes from raw energy, it’s considered to be a stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment.
